Welcome to 2023

Lifting of COVID restrictions, Winter Olympics, Russian invasion, Inflation surge, Hurricane Ian, Musk purchases Twitter, and FTX’s collapse are all headlines that sparked in 2022. Take a look at some of the headlines that sparked around PVE this past year…

Responsive & Respectful: As we continue to be responsive to your needs through exceptional customer service we welcomed a new member to the PVE team. Andi Foltz joined our team in July as part of our Dealer Support Team. Andi has quickly become an important aspect of PVE who brings her outgoing personality and detail-oriented work every day to PVE.

Innovative: We introduced forty-seven new products this year, which was more than double of the previous year (2021). This surge of new products included twenty-seven Deere, eight Case, eight Cat, and four Komatsu products. Some of the biggest additions to our product lineup in 2022 were brake discs, starters, and cutting edges.

We also introduced new upgrades to our PVE Online Dealer Gateway. The design features will give our dealers a more seamless look and upgraded features that will allow you to do a majority of tasks in just a click. These new products and system updates reassure our mission at PVE to continually be innovative to provide premium industry solutions and unbeatable services to you.

Community Focused: Community is defined as a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals. We believe we severe a variety of different communities including industry serving, PVE culture, local involvement, and USA manufacturing. By serving our industry we were able to travel this year and visited Indianapolis, IN for the UPN (Used Parts Network), Orlando, FL for IDA (Independent Distributors Association), and various dealer visits throughout the year. We continually pride ourselves on treating our Dealers as more than a customer and doing what we can to serve you!

These are just some of the many things that headlined around PVE this year in accordance with our core values. We are anxiously awaiting 2024 to continue to grow, learn and build relationships as a team and company at PVE.

Moving into 2022

Taking On The New Year

Even though the challenges of a global pandemic seemed to flow into 2021 we still found ways to be thankful and grow as a company. As we step into the new year we wanted to take a look back at some of the exciting things that happened around PVE in 2021.

We welcomed a new member to the PVE team, Clinton Yoder, who joined our shipping department. Clinton has quickly become an important aspect of PVE and brings a detail-oriented and hardworking work ethic. We can’t wait to see Clinton continue to grow here at PVE. In addition, to a new team member, we also introduced a new supplier of bearings NTN/Bower. This change was made to improve price stability and on-time delivery without sacrificing quality.

Due to supply chain issues, raw material pricing, & tariffs, it made it a difficult year for the production of new products. In spite of that, we introduced twenty-two John Deere, three Case, three Cat, & three Komatsu products for a total of thirty-one new PVE products. Some of the biggest additions to our product lineup in 2021 were floating/duo seals and excavator seats for Deere and Case. The new addition of floating seals has already made a vast impact by becoming one of PVE’s most popular products of 2021. Lastly, with the new addition of excavator seats, we now provide a variety of backhoe, dozer, and excavator seats for Case, Cat, & Deere.

Some things we are looking forward to in 2022 is the return of UPN at Drews Parts in Anderson, Indiana. After two long years of postponing due to Covid, we will finally be able to reconnect with the used parts network. We are also looking forward to introducing our new line of co-branded literature. With this, you will be able to gain access to marketing material from us that has your company touches on it.

These are just some of the many things that happened around PVE this year. We are anxiously awaiting 2022 to continue to grow, learn and build relationships as a team and company at PVE.

One of our core values and the foundation of Paint Valley Equipment is relationships. We take pride in the relationships we have developed with our dealers, relationships within the company, and relationships throughout our community. All these different types of connections play into who we are at PVE.

One way we wanted to build on relationships this year is by connecting with you through Instagram. By getting a new social media platform that will allow us to build and maintain relationships on a different level.

2022 IDA Recap

IDA Recap

Last week, members of the PVE team attended the IDA (Independent Distributors Association) convention in Orlando, Florida.

The IDA is an association for equipment parts distributions specializing in heavy equipment in the aftermarket industry. This group provides a voice in the heavy-duty market to exchange important information and tips for independent equipment parts distributors and manufacturers. The organization has been around since 1958 that has grown into an international association with members located in over 50 countries.

As an independent parts manufacturer and disturber, we had the opportunity to display at the tradeshow. This event allowed us to showcase how PVE is a versatile manufacturer that has the flexibility to timely distribute products. We also took this time to spend some time with meaningful dealers of PVE.

If you’re a business that operates in or serves in the heavy equipment aftermarket industry you belong in the IDA. If interested, click on the link to join the aftermarket movement. Next year’s IDA convention will take place in Phoenix, Arizona and we hope to see you all there!

Newest Members of The PVE Team

We are proud to introduce our two newest employees that are committed to helping our customers with their construction equipment parts needs. Andi Foltz and Cheryl Wengerd have recently joined us here at PVE. Get to know a little more about Andi and Cheryl below.

Andi just recently joined PVE at the beginning of July as a new member in part sales as a Dealer Support Specialist. She brings a wealth of experience in customer service having spent several years working as a branch manager in banking. Andi’s customer service experience allows her to provide prompt solutions, excellent communication skills, and high energy to serve you. Andi first became interested in working at PVE because of our company culture. “I live about 1 mile from PVE, so this area is very familiar for me. After researching and seeing what PVE is all about, what they do, and the culture, I was confident that this would be a great fit for me!”.

Cheryl is the daughter of Joe and Martha Wengerd who works in our office as a part sales associate and our other part-time receptionist. She recently came on board with us in June as a part-time receptionist and has already enjoyed getting to know our customers. When asked what she has enjoyed most about PVE so far Cheryl said, “The interaction and relationships made with customers and working in a family atmosphere has been the most rewarding thing of working at PVE so far”. Cheryl’s enthusiasm and passion for helping others have made her the perfect fit for this position.

The value of team culture is one of our top priorities here at PVE and we know that they will be the perfect additions to the team. Give us a call and get to know Andi and Cheryl!

Some updates that have been made include the most recent PVE products, updated images/parts illustrations, and restructured sections which include A, C, and I. Rockguards can now be found in Section A alongside other track components, and dozer suspension parts are now located in section I. These changes enable us to be up to date with all PVE information and help keep things organized for our customers. As we continue to grow we continue to see innovative improvements to our catalog.

While we continue to make improvements to our online catalog, we will no longer be printing our catalog. As the online presence of our catalog rises we no longer see a need for print copies, which has enabled us to be more time and cost-efficient.

PVE is a proud supporter of the UPN Convention, an annual event for professionals in the used heavy equipment parts industry. For nearly twenty years, PVE’s people and products have been enriched by participating in this instructive and enjoyable gathering.

This time of the year we are usually sharing moments together enjoying the relationships we have forged through the years at UPN. However, the past two events have been canceled due to the pandemic, so we are taking this time to look back on the past memories and relationships we have made owed to the UPN.

As we look back on some of the past memories, we want to take the time to enjoy the many amazing places we have also traveled for this event. Some of the past UPN conventions have been hosted by 2021 – Canceled Drews Parts (Anderson, IN), 2020 – Canceled Flint Hydraulics (Memphis, TN), 2019 Yellowstone Valley Parts (Billings, MO), 2018 Radiator Supply House (Sweet Home, OR) 2017 ITR America (Chicago, IL), 2016 Paint Valley Equipment (Millersburg, OH), 2015 Global Recovery Corp (Branson, MO), 2014 H&R Construction (Riverside, CA).
